What is a ring? A round band worn on the finger and set with a stone, typically. But more fundamentally, a ring is a connector between our body and a precious stone.

What if we set the ring with the largest and most precious stone on this earth—the Earth? Are we connected to planet Earth when wearing the ring? Are we all connected as nodes of the humanity information network? Rings of the Earth is a two-part series exploring this possibility with equal parts curiosity and skepticism.

Each ring installation becomes a potential node in a global network, linking ring bearers through a shared, quiet absurdity.
